Released in 2004 as a software digital grading, DaVinci Resolve has evolved into a video editor complete with multitude of tools. This software allows users to transfer and record videos to a hard drive, where they can be edited, processed and later exported in a multitude of formats. The latest version is DaVinci Resolve 16, works on personal computers with Gnu / Linux, Windows and Mac OS X operating systems. In addition to this, a new neural engine is integrated, which makes use of machine learning in order to enable new functions, such as facial recognition or speed deformation, among others. This is perhaps the only application that offers professional 8K editing, color correction, visual effects, and audio post-production. Among these applications we have DaVinci Resolve. Nowadays, multimedia applications are essential to carry out many tasks that involve unique functionalities, with which to ensure that our work offers quality results. This is non-linear video editing software developed by Blackmagic Design. In the next article we are going to take a look at how can we install DaVinci Resolve 16 on Ubuntu 20.04.
